LOCAL NEWS: Woman convicted of killing Sergeant Cory Wride to be sentenced today

PROVO -- Megan Grunwald, convicted in May for the shooting death of Utah County sergeant Cory Wride will learn her fate today.
Grunwald, 18, was found guilty of 11 charges, including aggravated murder in a crime spree that began with the shooting of Wride, who had stopped to help what he thought was a stranded motorist. READ MORE HERE.

BYU’s Tejan Koroma named to 2015 Rimington Trophy Watch List

NEW YORK - The Rimington Trophy Committee has named BYU center Tejan Koroma to its 2015 fall watch list released today, which includes 63 centers in Division I football.
The 6-foot, 280-pound Koroma is just one of only two true sophomores on the 2015 list. READ MORE HERE.

The Women Tech Council (WTC) will recognize 16 women in the technology industry during its Women Tech Awards Luncheon in September.

WEATHER: Afternoon thunderstorms possible for next few days

Forecasters are calling for scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon today. The high will be near 86. More rain could fall tonight. National Weather Service forecasters are calling for a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Thursday will bring a slight chance of thunderstorms after noon, otherwise it will be near 88 and mostly clear. The low Thursday night will be around 59.
